A Message from RoseRock Bank

Your bank is doing fine! But with all the news attention the national banks are getting, you want to know that your money is in the best hands possible. That’s why Rose Rock Bank is a solid choice for long-term financial security. Rose Rock Bank is not only standing strong — it’s growing and building a more prosperous future. So you can rest easy knowing that you’re with an organization that has the experience, resources and staying power to help you ensure your financial success.

INTEGRITY
Now more than ever, it’s important for you to work with a bank that has a reputation for responsible, insightful local decision making.  Rose Rock Bank has no securities or investments with Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae and our loans and deposits are with local people we know and trust.

SAFETY
Rose Rock Bank insures deposits through the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation), an independent agency of the United States government that protects you against the loss of your deposits if an FDIC-insured bank or savings institution fails.  FDIC insurance is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government.  Since the FDIC’s creation in 1933, no depositor has ever lost even one penny of FDIC-insured funds.  With the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 recently enacted by the federal government, deposits are now insured up to $250,000, up from $100,000.  Additionally, non-interest bearing deposits are fully insured regardless of the amount. These changes are effective through December 31, 2009. In cooperation with our holding company owned banks, we can FDIC insure deposits 10 times beyond the new limit.  This figure multiplies even more with proper account structuring.

STRENGTH
Strength is on your side. Rose Rock Bank’s holding company has total Oklahoma assets of over $1 billion.  With capital funds of $113,438,000, Rose Rock Bank’s capital ratio is 14.8%*, much higher than is required for a bank of our size, which together with applicable FDIC insurance makes us one of the safest places to put your money.
